Rooster 9081
created by

This Bantam rooster is very colorful. These chickens are believed to originate in the Orient. Bantam is a term used to describe any miniature or smaller breed of chicken. They are about one-fourth to one-fifth the size of a standard chicken. Bantam chickens have become known as "the flower garden" in the world of poultry. They are popular as show chickens as well as pets because of their small size and exotic appearance. They do not require much space, therefore they adapt well to small backyards. The hens lay eggs, however three Bantam eggs are equivalent in size to one standard chicken egg.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Janet Janette M.
