USS Juneau
created by

On a mostly cloudy day, from the city of Coronado, looking across the bay to San Diego, the naval ship in the fore ground is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer. The destroyer, named USS Juneau (CL 52) was commissioned at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on February 14, 1942. The ship looks peaceful but lonely in the still water. ------------------------------ Sandy Thomas
